How often people have the attitude of the title of a song, "I did it my way", instead of trusting in the Lord, doing it his way. It flows from a sense of pride and false independence. It is the attitude of those who choose the wide road that leads to destruction, rather than the narrow road that leads to salvation. When we choose to trust God and to entrust our life to God, life takes on new meaning. Praying the prayer, "Jesus, I trust in you" from our heart regularly will remind us of the importance of God in our lives.
