Sometimes, we think we are the mover and shaker in the things of our lives. We fail to realize that we are only creatures in the guiding hands of the Creator. He is the potter and we are the clay. In our dance of life, he leads and we follow.  He doesn't make mistakes, but sometimes we get in his way. We think that we know it all.  We sing the tune, "I did it my way," only to realize that my way was not his way. What we end up with is far less than what it could have been, if we followed the lead of God. When we depend on the Lord, there is harmony; when we go on our own, we risk chaos.
