"Do not walk through time without leaving worthy evidence of your passage." Pope St. John XXIII

How do you want to be remembered after you have died? What worthy evidence will be attached to your name? Will our life have been built on the solid rock of faith and life in Jesus Christ or will it have been built on the washable sands like a sand castle to be destroyed by death? There are times we spend our energy on things that do not matter in the eternal kingdom of God. Only what truly matters to God will be the evidence we present to the Lord on the Day of Judgement. Will our deeds be like a feather on the scale of justice or deeds of love? No, we do not save ourselves, but the evidence of our life will show whether we ignored or responded to the grace of salvation.
