One of the blocks and temptations of the Father of lies is discouragement and despair. It is a favorite tool to distract us in our spiritual journey. Many times we don't see progress in a particular area of our lives that we are trying to change. We become impatient with ourselves and feel somewhat hopeless. Success comes with faithfulness, prayer, persistence and patience,  The farmer prepares the soil, plants the seed and water it. He doesn't check the ground each day. So must we. Continue to work on our fault whether we see improvement of not. Something is happening by the grace of God though we do not perceive it at a given moment.
