My past is full of sin, for which I am in need of God's forgiveness. Praise God he has through the death and resurrection of Jesus! But even in the present moment, I fall short of the glory of God. I am in constant need of the grace of correction. As I hear his word and act on them, I find the needed correction of my ways. Because of my sinful nature, I am in need of the Lord's constant direction in my life, so that I can remain in union with him. I dare not walk this journey on my own without the presence of the Lord at my side. From my past history I know the consequences of separating myself from God. "I am who I am only by the grace of God.
