In a few words, the mystery of God's love is captured. What has he given us? Creation in all its glory, including our own creation. How did Adam and Eve respond? By rebellion. He gave himself to redeem us from eternal alienation from him. How have we responded? We too rebelled by our sins. He forgives us again and again. He shares his life so that we may have eternal life. He sustains us physically and spiritually. What does he ask of us? To remain in union with him. Is that too much to ask or expect?
