To love him and to give myself without reserve is a life time process. But what an exchange! He gives me his entire being, by becoming man and dying on the cross for my salvation. The perfect gift of love. My gift of self is an imperfect gift, a used gift, a limited gift. When I give it with my whole heart out of love, he accepts it, without question. We think it is so little; he sees it differently. He sees the love with which it is given. Give yourself this way to him and receive the gift of eternal life.
