Many people are afraid of death. They think that they can extend their life by various means. Even then, they die. They focused more on this life rather than on eternal life. They fall into the category which Jesus spoke of, What profit to gain the whole world but lose one's chance for real life? On the contrary, we are called to see death as a mere instant in the life-death-life cycle ending in the ultimate life with God eternally. Our focus is not this earthy life, which is here today but gone tomorrw, but our life with God. This mystery doesn't scaer us, but motivates us.
