Jesus gave us an important rule of life. He said that we are to be concerned about what matters to God. Many times we are more concerned about what matters to others more than what matters to God. And yet, when we face God in judgment it will not matter what others think. But  it will matter what God thinks. He will ask "Did you do what matters to me?"  Before that moment we need to reorder our life to insure that we are always trying to do what matters to God before all else. Living in the present moment, doing what matters to God is the path to the Lord.
