It is easy for us to forget our true worth, not in the eyes of others, but in the eyes of God. If we want to know that worth and to live up that assessment, then look at the crucified Lord. Let his words penetrate the depth of our being. "No greater love has one than to lay down his life for a friend." Our eternal worth is measured by his total gift of his life in sacrifice so that we can live eternally. Never forget the price Jesus paid for our redemption. Respond to this tremendous outpouring of love and worth by living a life worthy of our calling and gift.
