Hatred is a destructive force that comes from our own sinfulness and the urgings of the Evil One.  Hatred destroys relationships in a matter of seconds. Hatred seeks revenge, an eye for an eye. On the other hand, love creates, because it is life-giving and nurturing. It is the atmosphere that generates peace and harmony between people. Hatred may cause suffering to incur, but love will transform suffering into strength and eventual victory over hatred. We see the effects of hatred and love. Which will we choose, not in theory, but in reality?
