What a comforting, hopeful word! The saints were once struggling sinners like ourselves. They are saints now because of Jesus' grace and their surrender to him. We have received the same grace as they did. But have we surrendered our life to be led by Jesus? They stumbled and failed on their journey many times, but they persisted to look and depend upon the Lord for his grace. They came to a point that they wanted nothing but Jesus. Do we desire to be with Jesus enough to get up each time we fall? Heaven awaits us. Let grace overcome our weaknesses, O potential saints.
