We don't always consider the consequences of our actions. With a narrow vision we only think of the illicit joy of the present moment. Jesus warned us that what is done in secret will be brought to light. Nothing is hidden from the eyes of God. If we don't want to be embarrassed before the Lord in the future, then avoid anything that could cause us this unbearable embarrassment. Live in the light of truth and goodness, thus avoiding the darkness of sin and alienation.
