Jesus was clear about the life of those who would be his disciples. "By this they will know you are my disciples, by the love you have for one another." "You are the light of the world. Let your light shine so that others may see the works of my Father." Is it obvious to others that we are followers of Jesus, not by the wearing of a medal, but by the deeds of our lives? Are our words and actions reflected of our life in Christ? As we recognize the faults of our past, we are called by Jesus to a conversion of heart and a new commitment as his disciples. Let our lives be a living Gospel of love and service, of holiness and justice.
