Jesus told us that he, the Father and the Spirit will be with us and in us. This initial indwelling began in Baptism. How conscious are we of God’s divine presence within us? When we receive him in the Eucharist, God comes to renew and strengthen his life within us, so that we may continue to be one with him. We are a living tabernacle of God. We are never alone. God is Emmanuel, God with us. Where God is, the angels and saints are worshiping him. With St. Paul, we can proclaim: "In him we live and move and have our being."
