There is no real, lasting defense against the power of authentic love. That may be because love is disarming in in its purity and simplicity. We can set up walls of defense with argumentations. But how can we defend against the deepest of instincts, to love and to be loved? Jesus's love transformed lives. Those who wished to argue with him, never allowed his love to touch them. They were self-righteous. But those, who were opened to be transformed, were opened to his love. Their lives were changed. Let your weapon be love, which does not destroy but fulfills and renews the other.
