There is a difference between external show and internal faith. The difference is in the reason I am doing a particular action. One is done that others may see and think well of me. The other is done to profess my faith in the God who loves me beyond measure. Our faith is to be a light that shines before others, so that they glorify God for his goodness to us. We are reminded of the importance of being conscious and deliberate in our actions, especially towards the Lord. Give him the reverence due him as our Lord and Savior.
