Only faith and the realization of the most important gift that one can enjoy will acknowledge this statement. The truth is that God is our all. To possess God or better still to be possessed by God is the greatest grace one can desire in life. Unfortunately, our sinful nature and our eternal enemy try to convince us otherwise. There is always the forbidden fruit in our lives, which looks attainable and temporarily satisfying. But then the truth sets in. God never stops reminding us that he alone can satisfy the true, deepest longings of our hearts, which is to live forever, free from all pain, suffering, temptation and trials. Once we allow God to possess us, then we are on the way to the fullness of that grace.
